How do I set up my Puck Retention Nets?
Puck Retention Nets help keep pucks inside your YardRink so you can spend more time skating and less time chasing pucks. Depending on your rink size, your YardRink will include either a 3-pole or 4-pole Puck Retention Net.
Installing Your Puck Retention NetsPuck Retention Nets are installed at each end of the rink, behind the goals. The support poles fit directly into the fill ports on the panels.
To install your nets:
- Insert each pole into the fill ports located on the panels behind the goal.
- Make sure each pole reaches all the way to the bottom of the panel for proper support.
- Attach the netting to the poles and adjust as needed.
Puck Retention Nets must be installed before the water in your panels freezes. Once the water inside the panels is frozen, the poles may not be able to reach the bottom of the panel, preventing proper installation.
For the easiest setup, install your nets after assembling your rink and before filling your panels with water.
